If you want to know how to make money using Claude, here's my honest answer: Claude doesn't pay you and doesn't make money for you. Claude is an AI writing helper. You use it to draft blog posts, scripts and emails faster, then you edit them, publish them somewhere you own and share them. Any money comes from what you build with it, not from Claude itself.

Quick answer: Pick a topic. Ask Claude for a draft. Edit it so it's true and sounds like you. Publish it on your own blog. Share it. Do it again tomorrow. That's the whole system. It's simple, but it takes time, and results aren't promised.

Key takeaways

  • Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic. It has a free plan and paid plans.
  • Claude doesn't have a program that pays you to use it. You earn, if you earn, from your own content and offers.
  • My process is five steps: pick a topic, prompt, edit, publish, share.
  • Never publish a draft you haven't read and fact-checked.

What is Claude, and does it pay you?

Claude is an AI assistant made by a company called Anthropic. You type to it like a text message, and it writes back. It can draft posts, explain things in plain words and help you brainstorm.

It has a Free plan and paid plans called Pro and Max. Prices can change, so check Claude's official plans and pricing page before you pay for anything. I'd start with the free plan and see if you like it.

To be clear: Claude doesn't pay you. I'm not aware of any program where Claude pays people to use it, and I'm not connected to Anthropic. I'm just a guy who uses the tool every day.

Who am I to show you this?

I'm Sammy. I spent nearly 30 years in logistics and UPS management, and I've been in affiliate marketing since 2012. I'm not a tech person. I still do gig delivery while I build my online business, and I haven't hit my income goal yet. So this isn't a "look at my mansion" post. It's how I actually work, every day.

How do I make money using Claude, step by step?

Here's the exact process I use.

Step 1: Pick one topic

Before you open Claude, decide what you're writing about. The best topics answer a question real people type into Google. Think about:

  • Questions people ask you all the time.
  • Things you learned the hard way in your job or life.
  • Problems your readers have that you've solved.

Pick one question per post. Not five.

Step 2: Ask Claude for a draft

Tell Claude who the post is for, what question to answer and how it should sound. The more you tell it, the better the draft. Here's a prompt you can copy:

Write a blog post for beginners over 50 that answers the question "[YOUR QUESTION]." Use short sentences and plain words, like you're talking to a neighbor. Use headings that are questions people search for. Don't make income promises and don't make up facts or numbers. Mark anything I should double-check with [CHECK].

Step 3: Edit it so it sounds like you and is true

This is the most important step. I go through the draft line by line.

  • Cut anything that sounds like a robot.
  • Add my own stories, like my years at UPS or my gig delivery work.
  • Check every fact, price and date against the official source.
  • Take out anything that sounds too good to be true.

Claude can be wrong and still sound very sure of itself. Your name goes on the post, not Claude's. Here's a prompt that helps with this step:

Here is my draft. Make it sound more like a real person talking. Keep my stories exactly as I wrote them. Don't add any facts, numbers or stories I didn't give you. Point out any sentence that sounds like hype or that I should fact-check.

Step 4: Publish it on your own blog

Put the post somewhere you own, not just on social media. Social posts disappear in a day. A blog post can keep getting found on Google for months. I learned this the hard way: I built my business around one company for over ten years, and when it shut down, my whole contact list went with it. Read why you need your own domain name for more on that.

Step 5: Share it

Post a link on Facebook or wherever your people are. Make a short video about it if you like. Here's a prompt for that:

Turn this blog post into a 45-second video script with a hook in the first line, three short points and an ending that tells people where to read the full post. Then give me three short, honest Facebook captions for it. No clickbait.

Then do it again tomorrow. One post doesn't change much. A steady habit gives it a chance.

What does my daily routine look like?

I keep it short so I can do it even on a busy day. My 7-minute daily AI blogging routine goes like this:

  1. Check my numbers to see what people clicked and read.
  2. Have Claude write a draft of a blog post.
  3. Read it, fix it and make it sound like me.
  4. Make a thumbnail with ChatGPT.
  5. Publish the post.
  6. Share it to Facebook.

You can also watch my 7-minute AI blogging routine on YouTube. When I worked at Burger King for 20 years alongside UPS, a set daily routine is what kept me going. Same thing works here.

What mistakes should you avoid with Claude?

  • Publishing without reading. Mistakes with your name on them hurt trust.
  • Letting it make up facts. Always check prices, rules and numbers yourself.
  • Copying other people's work. Ask Claude to help you say things your own way.
  • Expecting fast results. Most blogs take months to grow, and some never do.
  • Buying "AI riches" courses. If it promises money with no work, walk away.

What tools do I use with Claude?

Where I publish

Claude helps me write, but I still needed a place to put that writing. So I built GoBeaug Links for everyday people, not tech people. You get your own blog and your own link-in-bio page. You can have Claude write a post and paste it in once, and it handles the titles and search engine stuff for you. It's $40 a year at the founding member price through January 1, 2027, and $120 a year starting January 2, 2027. No monthly fees and no auto-renewal. Take a look at GoBeaug Links here.

Where I send readers to join my email list

A reader who leaves your blog might never come back. So I invite them to join my email list. I use Automated Toolbox for my lead capture pages and as my autoresponder, so my follow-up emails go out on their own after someone signs up. I explain more in why I build my email list with Automated Toolbox.

Frequently asked questions

Does Claude pay you to use it?

No. Claude is a tool you use, not a job. I'm not aware of any program where Claude pays users. Any money comes from what you build with it, like a blog or your own offers.

Is Claude free to use?

Claude has a free plan, plus paid plans called Pro and Max with more usage. Prices can change, so check Claude's official pricing page for current details.

Is it okay to publish blog posts written with Claude?

Yes, as long as you read, edit and fact-check them first. Add your own stories and voice. Don't publish anything you haven't read.

Do I need to be good with computers to use Claude?

No. If you can send a text message, you can use Claude. You type a request and it writes back. The harder part is sticking with it every day.

How long does it take to make money using Claude?
