How to share your link on social media without being pushy
Nobody likes a spammy post. Here is how to share your link so people want to click it, with a simple 80/20 rule and three post ideas.

Posting "Join my business!" over and over is the fastest way to get muted. People scroll past ads. They stop for something that helps them.
Here is how to share your link the friendly way.
Use the 80/20 rule
About 8 out of every 10 posts should help, teach or entertain. Only about 2 should ask people to click or join. When most of your posts are useful, people do not mind the occasional ask.
Three posts you can make this week
- A quick tip. Share one thing that saved you time or money, and put your link at the end for anyone who wants more.
- A short story. Tell people why you started. A real story is more interesting than a list of features.
- A question. Ask your friends what they struggle with. Their answers give you ideas for your next posts.
Put your link in the right place
Add your link page to your profile bio on every account, so people can always find it. In posts, a simple "link in my bio" is often enough.
Talk to people one at a time
When someone comments or asks a question, answer them personally. Do not send the same copy-and-paste message to everyone. One real conversation is worth more than a hundred cold messages.
Be honest
If your link can earn you money, say so. And never promise anyone that they will make a certain amount. Share what you did, and let people decide for themselves.
