This one hit me hard.
In this video, a father sits his son down and tells him the truth. He worked eight hours a day, every day, and yes, it paid the bills. But he says that's not real money, because when you work for somebody else, you're building their dream, not yours. He doesn't want his son to live that same life. He wants him to do better.
That's what every good parent wants. Not just for our kids to get a job, but for them to have options, freedom, and something they own.
I spent nearly 30 years in logistics and UPS management. Good work, honest work. But looking back, I understand exactly what this father is saying. Your hours are the most valuable thing you have, and it matters who you're spending them on.
